Making a hole in one on the golf course is a fist-pump moment. Yet there is another way to achieve an even more satisfying emotional high in golf. That’s by becoming a sponsor for the PGA Tour for Birdies of the Brave charity scheduled for January 12 and 13 at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas prior to the SHOT Show.
Four industry companies to date have stepped up to support this worthy event. North American Arms is a Supporting Sponsor at $5,000, and SKB, Southwick Associates and Trijicon Inc. are each Sponsoring a Solder at the $250 level. Southwick also has donated two items for the fund-raising auction.
Additional sponsorship opportunities remain for Birdies of the Brave, which last year raised $70,000 to support nine charities that assist soldiers who were wounded in action. The goal this year is for industry to raise $100,000 for Birdies of the Brave. NSSF is the title sponsor of the event.
Sponsorships still available include the Lead Sponsor at $20,000, Presenting Sponsor at $10,000, golf foursome packages at $2,000, single golfer package at $500 and Sponsor a Soldier at $250.
As anyone who was associated with last year’s event will tell you, being a part of Birdies for the Brave is even better than making a hole in one. It is an amazing opportunity to give back to our wounded veterans and to entertain customers on a TPC course and play with tour pros.
