SHOT Show Gun Auction: Place your bids

Three firearms are being auctioned during the 2010 SHOT Show, all for worthy causes.

The first is a custom-built AR-15-platform modern sporting rifle donated by Rock River Arms to InterMedia Outdoors for a cover story in the Shooting Times' 50th anniversary issue (March 2010).

Proceeds from the auction will go to the National Shooting Sports Foundation to help fund its Modern Sporting Rifle educational campaign.

In addition to the rifle, a poster-size print of Shooting Times' anniversary cover featuring the firearm will be presented to the winner of the auction. This unique work of art is on display at the InterMedia booth, 13321, and put up for auction at GunBroker.com through Feb. 20.

Bidding also continues at GunBroker.com for two other firearms, including the 4 millionth Savage 110 and the 10 millionth and one Remington Model 870.

Proceeds from these two auctions will benefit the Hunting Heritage Trust. Bids can be made at www.gunbroker.com. The guns are on display at the manufacturers' booths on the show floor. Bidding closes at 1 PST today.
