NSSF’s new SHOT Show management partner, ConvExx, held its annual holiday party this week at one of Las Vegas’ hottest new venues — Green Valley Range.
The festivities started off with a classroom training session on the basics of firearms, both with respect to safety and the different types of firearms.
ConvExx President Jeff Pressman also had one of the Green Valley Range gunsmiths disassemble a variety of firearms and explain to the first-timers on staff how firearms feed, fire, extract and eject. The ConvExx team also learned how firing pins are removed so that they recognize the process and know what the safety advisors do onsite.
Then the fun began.
“Everyone had a great time,” said Pressman. “Some of our team members had never touched a firearm, and they got such a thrill shooting today that several of them are making plans to return on their own.”
