Feedback is helping to improve SHOT Show; A look at some post-show survey results

Our post-SHOT Show feedback surveys of exhibitors and attendees continue to trickle in at NSSF headquarters. Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to provide us with their thoughts and observations about this year’s show.

We made many improvements for 2011 based on last year’s feedback, and we’re already in the process of making more improvements for next year’s show based on the feedback we’ve gotten so far.

We’d like to share some of the numbers we’ve seen so far from the surveys.

SHOT Show Exhibitors

  • 59 percent of exhibitors are completely or somewhat satisfied (2010: 32 percent)
  • 89 percent of exhibitors are likely to exhibit in 2012 (2010: 79 percent)
  • 63 percent of exhibitors rate 2011 SHOT Show better than 2010

SHOT Show Attendees

  • 73 percent of attendees completely or somewhat satisfied (2010: 49 percent)
  • 80 percent of attendees highly or very likely to attend 2012 SHOT Show
  • 57 percent of attendees rank 2011 SHOT Show better than 2010

Based on this feedback, it looks as if there will be few if any major changes to the layout of the 2012 SHOT Show floor plan. Exhibitors will be hearing more from us on this in March.
